Screw is a mechanic simulator focused on motorsport. We are in a period of transition towards new gameplay systems and a new gameplay loop. The most recent work on the game is in the beta branch, accessible by right-clicking Wrench in your Steam library and going to the beta tab. The beta now supports co-op multiplayer in both desktop and VR game modes. This version is sandboxed, but we are working on something much more structured soon. Screw players use a variety of tools to disassemble and repair the extremely detailed assembly of the car. There are currently three chassis offered in the game. Hatchback Streetcar and two licensed car sets. Our philosophy at Screw is to allow players to fail, get lost and make mistakes. We use a limited 2D user interface and prefer interaction with the world.

There is no automated inventory system, players must keep track of all their items, and we provide organizational tools to help players manage their spaces. The garage includes customizable workbenches, floors, and storage.
