The story follows the renaming protagonist Bjorn as the world he knows changes, leading him to discover a deeper purpose. Bjorn lives a simple life with his friends in a remote frontier town at the edge of the known world, an impenetrable ring of dense forest filled with deadly beasts.

Events occur that force him to travel to the vast capital of Faruvin, where he will inevitably encounter many interesting characters and situations. How will Bjorn and his friends react to the strange new world they find themselves in?
