You are a successful writer and have decided to leave town for a while to clear your mind and regain your inspiration. On your way to several small towns, you have a strange accident that you can't really explain, and that's how you end up in a small town called Pine Falls.

Here you meet Alice, Mia and Grace among others and they all tell you a strange story about how a few years ago people there began to disappear, mostly men, leaving only a few behind. In addition, you are told that you cannot leave the city because if you try, you will end up on the other side, and that something strange is happening on the street at night. Of course, you cannot believe these misconceptions, but perhaps they are true...​
