You will play on the first day of each week, which should set an example of what your character is doing for the rest of that week. I found it made more sense than a casual game due to the logic of how fast skills grow, how fast relationships develop, and the time between game events, etc.

Then this first day will be divided into four stages. Morning, noon, evening and night. In the morning you will have judgment. This is the time when the subjects of the kingdom will bring petitions to you so that you will pass judgment. Your choice will affect how the kingdom sees you as a ruler.

With that in mind, it will be nearly impossible to please all factions, and they may rebel or plot if their support drops to zero. On the other hand, a good relationship with them can open up other more pleasant things for you. Your level of skill may also open up different solutions to problems brought to court. These options are usually better.

After spending the trial, you will spend the daytime and evening time in the map menu. There you can decide what skills you will develop during the week.
