After losing her parents at a young age in a car accident, Mary Miller loses all motivation to do anything. Even after her brother, who cares for her, continues to worry about her well-being, Mary spends her days just waiting for time to pass. Years later, Mary finally realizes that she has ceased to feel any excitement for anything.

Just as she begins to wonder why she is even alive, she receives a strange hypnosis video sent to her by an old friend. The video awakened feelings in her that she thought were long gone, and time is starting to move again for her.
